Founder’s Story

Daniel Kim is a United States Marine Corps combat veteran who served during Operation Enduring Freedom. After returning home, he witnessed a harsh reality—more veterans were being lost to suicide than in combat. Like many, Daniel faced his own struggles with mental health and substance use, navigating challenges that often go unseen.
Through martial arts, fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness practices, he began rebuilding his life—developing discipline, clarity, and a stronger sense of purpose. These tools became more than personal solutions; they became a foundation for helping others.
Driven by this experience, Daniel founded the Infinite Balance Foundation to support individuals facing internal battles, especially veterans, first responders, and underserved communities. The organization provides safe, structured environments where people can build resilience through movement, mindfulness, and community.
His mission is to ensure that no one feels alone in their struggle—and to offer practical tools that help individuals regain control, find balance, and move forward with strength and purpose.
